???
the other day i was doing my weekly water change. when i accidentally like a dumbass switched the filter pads. after that alllll the **** came out into my tank. i did another water change. two more actually since the incident and my water wont go back as clear as it used to be? its all cloudy now. what happened? are my fish in danger?!@? can anyone help me?!@?! :swear: please thanks in advance.
*all my fish are eatting still though*

You should be fine. The water will go back to normal naturally, or you could get Mardel's water clearing product, I have used it, works great.

You might have lost a lot of beneficial bacteria when you did that and a result would be
a bacterial bloom. I would recommend that you get a test kit and make sure your water
parameters are acceptable. I would also cut back on feeding until everything goes back to normal. Good luck !

wheeewww. so everythings ok huh? just cut back on the feedings? should i do any water changes? thanks for all your help everyone.

Waterchanges will be good... help clear out the water faster..

It cant hurt, change about 10 to 20% if you cant live with it for a day. Lets just say if something bad were in the water, a water change wont cure it anyway, so just check for the cloudiness tomorrow, I bet its gone by the afternoon. Fear not my friend. If you have a few powerheads, turn one or two off until then, it will help the sediment settle.

i have no substrate also.

my water parameters seems to be fine too. and my fish are all eatting. just the waters cloudy =/ guess ill have to wait til tomorrow to see

just keep testing the water parameters.
and its ok to replace filters, but bettere to just rinse in tank water...
when I actually replace my filters, most of mine have 2, and I make sure to have a few weeks inbetween switches. ie.. side "a" gets replaced may 5th... then may 26th side "b" gets replaced.. few months later, repeat the cycle...
