Waterfall Filters as an addition

I want one just to look at the waterfall (already have a good cannister filter). How can they attach if you have a lid? I have a 55 Gallon bowfront but has a flush lid on the top.

Check out my link - this one is a small rubbish one but its this idea. Any ideas from users?

Those will work. They are your typical Hang-on-back filter.

you just have to cut a hole on the lid and then stick it in

btw i recommend aquaclear power filters
i personally think every other hob filters suck

Yeah, they are typical power filters. If you want them because they are cheaper then I guess get them.Though if you can spend a little more money it will be worth it.

Its not because anything's cheaper. I have a main filter i just want a waterfall but dont really want to hack out my lid to get it though hm

ususally, the lids have areas on the backs that are made to be broken away to fit filters like that. I'd recommend an emperor bio-wheel. they have better biofiltration and help oxygenate your water.

Ah, I see. Do what I do because my AC 70/300 would pour onto the glass if set flush.Pull the glass lid forward enough so a filter hanging on the back does not return onto the glass. The only change is you lose the flush look at the handle part of the glass.Other than that, get the glass cut.Here's a pic for you.
