Watermelon Pleco wood preference?

I feel like this is such a weird question... but does anyone know if watermelon plecos in general have a preference of wood? My little guy is borderline destroying my spider wood so if I could get a piece that he'd like better, that'd be awesome. For me and him.

Well it is an panaque. They are supposed woodeaters yes. I think it was either RD. Or duanes that had an really interesting discussion about this here on the forum

Panaque's favorites are usually any soft wood. My 330 loves cholla wood

They do like cholla wood, I give mine yams , carrots and zukes.. they tend to take it easy on the wood if there's a sweeter food source.
