So I've had my 100Gal tank for a while now. It has a solid oak stand and a solid oak hood. I thought it would have came pretreated with some sort of oil to waterproof it but the sill of the stand has already got a few blemishes from where water has landed during changes. Does anyone else have a solid oak or natural wood stand and can recommend a product to treat it with? I've been recommended some oils from the DIY store but wonder if there was any suggestions from fellow MFKers?
