Watersprite roots growing out

What is the cause of this root growth?

I already tossed it in the trash but I still want to know.

I still have it, I thought I threw it away but that was my other Sprites I tossed. So what do I do with this plant since it's doing this?. It looks pretty ugly,.. Well more now then before the root thing lol

That's normal with water sprite sorry to say.

I been doing the Seachem dosing schedule, could I still be low on nutriants?
My vals went from 3 plants to 12 plants in less than 2 weeks.
