Wats wrong with this fish?

Its not mine. I know its has HITH but is that ich also or some sort of
parasite? I have no water parameters or know the h20 changing schedule.

its a common disease, especially with cichlids,
called hole in the head or HITH. from bad water quality..
And that looks pretty advanced..

Get API liquid test kit and test your ammonia, nitrites and nitrates. Those are very important. Ask your friend for foods used, feeding schedule and water change schedule.

Yep Hole in the head.Aka head and lateral line erosion,so called because in advanced cases like this one it also attacs "well the lateral line" of the fish.Just thought i'd add this FYI incase you didn't already know.
