would mixed cichlid like changing currents or a constant current? i was thinking about using some thing like this from oceansmotions

Na, those are made to simulate waves of the ocean for reef tanks. Cichlids are river and lake fish and only need a single direction current.

so is it just better to have a constant jet from different angles? i was just thinking that you could have one strong jet at a time or more weaker one all the time?
