Wavemaker help

I bought a 175g bow front. I have a sunsun hw5000 and another smaller canister filter. I just ordered 2 wavemakers. They are 2000gph each. Is this overkill? It seems that would be an incredible amount of current. Also would all that pressure be bad for the tank? I'm pretty new with this stuff.

Nope, for both questions. The flow should be fine, unless you have fish like goldfish that can't handle a little current. And the pressure will be negligible. I have a pair of 2245 GPH wavemakers on a 120g tank.
