Wavemaker in Malawi tank

Was just wondering what peoples thoughts are on wavemakers with Malawi's. If they are a good idea what would be a suitable size for a 130 gal tank (6 foot long). Thanks.

Not malawian but for tangs I've always like high flow through the tank.

I have 2 on my 125 g and the cichlids love it. They swim in the current. Just make it offset so they aren't forced to swim in it and don't push so hard that it moves the cichlids.

you can just grab a powerhead instead of a wavemaker? i have 2 75G and i have a Marineland Maxi-Jet 1200 running in each tank. awesome circulation for the tank and cichlids
