so when do you guys plan on standing in line for the PS3. This is going to be 100% protfit for my MONSTER TANK! There has to be others. Hoping to get 3 ps3. I would buy them all but they do not allow it:( I am hoping to get a 300gallon or 500 For my Bass and clown knife, I just dont want to start the line :( Hey milkman skip school and come to MELBOURNE!
 
i wanted to buy one and sell it on ebay and make 900 for sitting around... but im too lazy to get off the couch and stop eyeing my fish! maybe i can sell Xbox 720 on ebay when it or whatver it will be comes out!
 
dont you have to have them reserved to get them? i never understand why these gaming systems are always under supplied to stores when they are first released. why not just have plenty for everyone? is this some kind of marketing scheme im unaware of?
 
obviously!!! marketing scheme! if it wasnt why wouldnt all the gaming systems come out on different years... i swear the CEo's make plans to have there game releazed when no one elses game is.. a temperary monopoly u could say!

"FREE MEDIA"
by under supplying the world with them they are causing people to go crazy about them they lose money on the systems itself. They make all the money on games. When you have a shortage, they cause high media. Its only on all the news channel people lining up 11 (also 3 days)days before it launched. Nothing is better then FREE ADVERTISEDMENT. They are getting free media about it.
\You can still get one you have to wait in line though. Im thinking Weds night thursday morning.......

Well, they do this because they can get more money out of these units, because if the supply meets or exceeds the demand, the price must go down because everyone will be like "Wel Sh**, there are plenty, I'll wait till the price drops." But if there are very few of them, people will grab them when they can. Myself, I have a 360, and personally I think it sux because all the games can be beat in a day (except for a couple). There is no challenge, and I feel the games are a waste. I bought Prey, beat it i 3 hours. I bought GRAW, 8 hours. Oblivion 1 Week. Rumble Roses.......need I say more. Sure some have great online play, but sometimes that is more of a headache then it is worth. Double Agent was a omplete joke compared to the others. Albeit a good story behind it. After PS3 is released, I would expect 360 to drop in price to compete for sales. Then I expect real games to be released next year. So personally, I'd wait and stick it to them.
 
Oh, and they don't lose money on the systems. Sony owns everything they need to make them. Then they have the chinese or koreans build them for pennies on the Yen. Just like Xbox, all microsoft parts, but made in mexico for like $15
 
If you don't have a school or a job or family I can understand waiting in line to make some money. But other then that, I know my life is to busy and stressful to be taking time out to wait in line. When I was younger I know I probably would of for sure. But now I don't have any time to play Playstation anyways. But, I definatly wouldn't miss school over it.
 
I plan on walking up to the register, passing all the people waiting in line, buying my PS3, and selling it before I walk back to my car.
