way to preserve my old dead fish?

its an old parrot cichlid i raised from a baby back in 2000 which i didn't know about the "breed". retarded thing, but was my boy none the less, lol.


anyways...it is in my freezer in a container and wanted to know if i can dry it out and preserve it /put it on my ornament shelf. its about the size of palm of a hand

or, depending on exactly where in ny your from, theres a good ammount of taxidermy places, since NY has a large group of hunters and fisherman. just pop open a yellow pages, or check the net. while it was be a bit different than what a taxidermist does, seeing as its a small tropical fish, a good reputable one will be able to do a perfect job of mounting your parrot, or whatever you chose to do with it.

i actually want to have my pacu preserved and mounted once he goes, since he was my first TRUE MONSTER, and ive had him for quite a few years now after rescuing him from near death so your not crazy and its not a retarded thing at all to want to do, trust me
