WC Peruvians Finally spawned

Been waiting for about 6 months for these 2 to start their thing. He has been so gentle with her,so far, but really has never showed aggression towards her. He has killed all of the dither fish that were in there. I still have 3 silver dollars left. His colors change daily.. Its cool to watch him.

Now if I can only get my WC Ecuadorian pair to spawn.......

Thank you all for your comments. Looked this morning and dad is patrolling the perimeter, while mom keeps the house clean. Dad is really getting protective. When I come up to the tank he is immediately right there and barring up even more. And the eggs look to be fertilized, I see little black dots in them.
