WC Umbee Update

quick 1 week update video on my group of 4 wc rio mag umbees. have decided that instead of 2 males and 2 females i have 3 males and 1 female and my largest male and the female have shown signs of wanting to pair up but he was a little too aggressive for my liking so i moved her in with one of the smaller males but still next to the larger male to allow her to still get her flirt on. cant wait for them to grow and with how these males are gonna turn out i may have to get some more tanks for them. thanks for watching and enjoy

Very cool substrate! What exactly is it a mixture of? Also who did you get you WC's from?

thanks their from gage. the sand is quickrete all purpose sand and nothing done to it out of the bag other than washing. comes out of the bag like that

Your male looks great! I also picked up 6 WC Umbee's but from Dan at COA a month ago, same size as yours. I had requested 3:3 and think I got what I asked for. One pair has already formed and spawned, one female paired off with my other 10" Rio Mag male and I have three more that are still figuring things out. Awesome group you've got.... I'll have to keep tabs on your group.

thanks I'm thinking I'm probably a little time out for spawning but they were definitely showing some signs of bring friendly. the sand is super easy to wash compared to most small grain play sand. I have it in all my tanks

I love this sand as well. I have put it in all my tanks I have switched out from gravel since I found it.
