We all know what Prime smells like..

We all have come to know the not so pleasant smell of Prime. Today, I did water changes on a couple tanks and opened a new bottle of Prime. I only single dosed the water. Now, my entire house smells like Prime. I've never had it happen like that. My wife kept accusing me of flatulence and since I have never had it make the whole house smell I had to investigate..... and it's the tanks I "Primed" ROFL. Has anyone else have this happen? Thank God she wasn't having a dinner party.

ROFL That's funny I do smell it every time too.

I've just never had it make the whole house stink. I was wondering if there might be a problem. The fish seem cool though. Maybe I got super prime.

bump before night cap. No one else has had this problem? I'd hate to pass it off then it turn out to be an issue. The whole house smells like Prime. I didn't spill any either lol.

happen to me from time to time the smell seems to lessen within 2 days but i usually do water changes every Sunday so i make sure i lesson the dosage during my water changes so the water won't smell as bad as it once did

Cool thanks. I'm glad to know it's not just me. I was a little paranoid. I've just never had the smell go so far lol.

happens to me all the time, thats y now i caulk up the extra dough and but a different conditioner

the fart smell is the whole reason I don't use Prime. I just use a regular dechlor now. (AquaPlus). been using it for years.
