Lets just say not all pool filter sand is created equal. Leslies has spoiled me without having to hardly wash the sand.
 
Hmm, that a 75 or a 120?
 
I will. I have to figure out a way to get from murky so somewhat visible. Parameters are on point but even after 5 bucket washings this stuff still clouded up the water like no other.

I need to go on a driftwood hunt. Everything I have won't sink. I was debating on doing drift wood with epiphytes then maybe some top water stuff with a cheap led

You could use clarifier... not sure what chemical it is but it does seem to work. My sand had a packet of the stuff in there and it cleared up the water fast. I really dont like to use chemicals but it was before fish was added so I used it.

They are pretty close in size but I think the one you got is just a little bit bigger.

Very good looking puff! Glad we both were able to get them.
 
Looking in that pic they're pretty close to the same size. I couldn't tell by your tank shots. Way bigger than I was expecting. I put my finger beside then measured my finger.

I will say I will probably end up with a 40b if it gets much bigger.
