So since I have a messy turtle instead of fish..I had to get a filter that's almost twice the size of the tank(I mean in gallons).
but..I have artificial rocks in the tank and all the mess seem to go under there. The left side of the tank is super clean, but the bottom of the right side has droppings in one neat little pile.
And the baby minnows seem to be getting sucked up there..what can I do?

Is there a good way without moving the filter to the middle of the tank(since I have docks, and rocks..)

Add a small powerhead in a concieled location that will provide extra current to eliminate the debris 'dead spots'

Thank you!
What do you recommened for a 125gallon tank?

And can you tell me how long the "cycling" process lasts on average?

Depending on bio-load it can last anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.
A small powerhead is all you really need. All aquariums develope a natural flow pattern. What you want to do is alter that flow a bit.

To cycle your 125G faster, wee in it.
The added ammonia will provide lovely food to the growing bacteria, and will mulitply much faster then if you didnt. Works a treat. But only do this in the first 2 weeks or less.

oh you need ammonia??? I keep on putting ALOT of ammonia killers in my tank..that could be one of the reasons it gets cloudier than the day before every day..haha
