I have 4 rbp's in a 72gallon and they are doing find but, they are really big "fluffies". I had them for over a year, they are good size but they are scared of their own shadow. I wanted really aggressive fish to watch eat through their pray but, they only eat when no one is around. I was wondering what I could do or maybe try different fish.

yea but i've seen brave rbs so, i thought mine would be like that. can you give me names of aggressive fish.

Very true, your solo hunters are alot more brave than your pack piranhas. If you are interested in the piranha family some big rhoms I have seen are aggressive, cichlids like dovii and umbee are great predators and fearless, Fahaka puffers are fearless as well, Wolf Fish are a little less active but very aggressive predators nonetheless, armatus, and bowfin can be very aggressive. These are jus some to help you out, but any one of these would slaughter a piranha one on one. Movies have really hyped Piranhas up more than what they are, dont get me wrong...all fish are different and their are some bad ass ones but for the most part their prey is weak, injured, sick animals that are near death. Hope this helps....

If you want an aggressive piranha, then go with a Serrasalmus species. My gold spilo will chase your finger for hours, not to mention it puts on quite a show at feeding time:WHOA:

^agreed

i have 5 reds who are fairly skiddish (all over 7") and a 4' serra sanchezi that is much braver then them and much meaner
