My fish are starting to wean off of live food. :headbang2 Now I know a lot of people believe that fish should be offered live food so they will still get live fish and shrimp, but I will cut down what I am putting in. They were getting 4 dozen a week and now it is going to be 1 dozen. I still haven't seen my datnoid eat so I don't know how he is doing but my puffers will take krill that are just floating on the surface and I finally got to see my Needlefish take a krill the puffers were picking on and it looked alive. If only I could wean my Blue Crab off of feeders so that he wasn't so agressive and killing all of my fish. I will post pics soon since the tank is clearing up thanks to everyone's help and now the fish are on prepared foods!

And if you are wondering how they get the shrimp. They get shrimp kabobs. I feed them on a skewer and move them around and the fish chase them. For other things, like imatation crab, I use chopsticks! Spoiled fish, Gotta love 'em!

EDIT: Needlefish tried again to eat some krill, but couldn't get it down and it was stolen from him by the chromide and the puffer.

Blue Crab is eating several shrimp per day served to him on a shishkabob skewer.
