One of the first fish I collected was the Weather Loach. I started fish keeping in aquarium almost two years ago.
My three brown weather loaches are between 10" and 12" now, and my golden dojo loach is 7".
I have these in a community with what I thought would be a safe mix. I have never seen any direct aggression between the fish. This week I noticed what appears to be a severely chewed up tail on one of the brown weather loaches.
I don't know the culprit. They are housed with juvinile (grow out) fish only! Their tankmates include a red hooded severum (~ 3"), a golden severum (4.5"), an EBJD (3"), three indo dats (~ 1" each), an african black knife (5"), two delhezi bichirs (~ 4" each), and a palmas bichir 9" and ultra fat.
Any educated guesses on what juvi fish could have reaked this havok, and why ony one out of four loaches were touched at all?
