Long time no posting... so here I go...

We have a teaching zoo here at work. We have a few baby alligators in the herp house that we'd like to put a live webcam on. I'd like to get the camera down low, at water level (there is 3-4" of water in the bottom of the enclosure) so we can aim the camera back into the 'gators hidey hole.

So.... what is best way of building a small plexi or glass container? Doesn't have to keep water in, rather it must keep water out...

Since it will be in there with the gators, needs to be tank safe, water proof, and potentially survive abuse.

Suggestions?

As a diy thing and having see a 20 inch cat fish break many things in his jaws. I would never go near glass.
another member on here a few years back made a web cam inside a box using 1/4 plexx and had his at a depth of 2ft i think. The problem is not going to be the box. It will be keeping the wiring safe
