Hi' All,

Just wondering what the normal growth rate of Weeksii is ? I got mine at around 11-12 inch over a year ago and i don't think it's gorwn even an inch yet. It's spent it's first year in a 100g 4x2x2 and is now in a 6x2.5x2.5 280ish g so i dont think it's restricted quaters causing any issue.
It's been mainly fed on Hikari Massivore, just started NLS now.
My Ornate which was about 2inch at xmas is already at 12inch now ! seems like it's just not growing:(

Yeah Weeksii can grow rather slow sometimes. Mine has grown somewhat slow as well. My Moke, Buetikoferri, and my Retro all are slow growers as well. My Ornate is my largest grower though. He's a beast!

Yeah My Weeksii has only grown an inch over the course of a few months they're very slow growing....But, what is your WC schedule and how new is the 200gal? Believe it or not Pristine water has a profound affect on Animal Growth if the water is not kept at low less than 20ppm Nitrate 0ppm on all other Nitrogenous wastes it can stunt the fish growth the older the set up aquarium the more of these and other hormonal chemicals build up and reach equilibrium....

I have a 24/7 water change system changes about 40% a day and nitrates are normally around 5 when i check. the new tank has been setup a few months now.

Very Nice I'd give a best GUESS at .25"-1" a month depending on how old it is if it is over 8 months I'd guess a slow side less than 8 I'd say a speedier growth but there are numbers of variables that can affect growth rate
