Weeksii, Ornate measurement

I tried to take some pics of the Weeksii and Ornate next to the tape.. Crappy pics but I will get much better shots when I have them out of the tank next week.

I have Called the Ornate 20" but he is probably closer to 19 3/4", the Weeksii is 15 1/2-16 "

I had to post the pics as I feared my poor Ornates feelings might have been hurt when it was suggested on a previous thread that he was only 14-15"

Na King, no hurt. I am always a little skeptical of listed sizes myself. As a fisherman I have stretched the tape a time or two. To be honest I was amazed when I measured the Weeksi at how fast she has grown. I know the growth is starting to slow as her appetite is now way down.

My thoughts are turning to the task of removing the fish for the tank swap late next week.

I picked up some big clear bags which I am going to attempt to coral each fish in and then move them to the holding coolers.

Should be wet and fun.
