Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 7" WeeKsii that has been extremely shy for the 6 months I have had it. Until 3 weeks ago, he began cruising around the tank, clowning with my senegalus. No aggression observed, he gets along with everyone in the tank. I'm glad I didn't trade him in, he sure is a very entertaining fish now that he is not so shy.

I had an old weeksii awhile back, mine also took awhile too get adapted to the tank. Always hiding... about after 3 months was when she started cruising around the tank.

I like weeksi, seems to be more of the underrated poly species kept, compared to endlis, congis, etc.

Glad you didn't get rid of your weeksii... keep it and grow it out. Because I regretted after had getting rid of mine?!!

Anyways, here's some old shots of my weeksii... you can see her hiding in some pics in the background, then other pics of her cruising around the tank after getting adapted. Be sure to post pics of yours. Enjoy!
