Weight of rays

Hmm, something tells me you have something up your sleeves. 5lbs sounds about right maybe a bit more depending how thick it is.
 
my 23" female is like 16 pounds maybe more she is a beast thankfully i never have to net her again...
 
Take a large enough container, put adequate water in it, weigh it.
Add Ray, weigh it.
Subtract the difference and you have the weight.
