Weir, Overflow or surface.

I am planning on running a sump on a 180 i am getting in a few weeks, but i am having trouble deciding on how i am going to move the water from the tank to the sump.

I was considering a weir and a stand pipe?
or a straight through bulkhead at surface level?
Or a Over flow system that requires no drilling?

Does anyone have any opinions on these three??
