Not a lot but though I'd share today's trial run of my weir
I have crammed it with my ceramic media with floss and sponges in top to make a trickle tower.
It is silent and has a hole in sponge at top as an emergency overflow, albeit it would need to clog up 12" of media first.
The ceramics were in the left hand side of sump, idea being now I can move k1 to left chamber and use the output from the pipes to fluidise the media more efficiently, or just cram in more media when needed! I also got fed up clearing the amount of Ray crap that got stuck in the bottom of the weir so this will prevent that!
Just need to buy some black acrylic to hide it all and tidy up a bit and job done!
