I've recently acquired a 12 inch FH, unsure of sex or type lol, and today saw him/her sticking the kok up against a piece of driftwood in the corner. He/she would than continue to push against the driftwood and shake its body/attempt to push the driftwood. Im unsure of what this behavior is, possibly thought flukes but other than this he/she has a totally normal behavior and is eating like crazy which is expected of flowerhorns haha. If anyone can help that would be amazing.

that's what I think it was doing because the ph is at 7.9 ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and nitrate .3 mg/l so everything is totally fine

Sikoko is probably right, just trying to rearrange the furniture -- maybe put in a weighted fake plant or two (with leaves that don't come off easily) and let it push them around for fun and exercise. My FH likes to rearrange small stones and make special designs.
