My Senegal is freaking out in his tank. He's flinging himself all over the tank, diving up and out of the water, arching his head as far back as it can go while spreading his gills so wide that you can almost see through his head, and constantly taking gulps of air from the surface. He's favoring the upper half of the tank, and though he can sit on the bottom, he's floating with his head pointing up and his tail touching the floor. This is a completely new behavior for this senegal, as he occasionally flits around the tank, but is almost always sedentary in his habits. The gill flaring has gone on for a few days now.
