had tank light and room lights off. Ended up turning on the tank lights so i could see in my room and I saw my angelfish just in a daze its fins moving slowly just staring straight ahead so i thought something was wrong:screwy:. I decided to swirl up the water above it with my finger...nothing it stayed the same. I stuck my finger in the tank in front of her hoping she would move....nothing. I then poked her dorsal fin she ended up falling down onto the gravel and glass at a 45degree angle. I FREAKED:WHOA:, did a water change as i was at about 10 gallons when my angelfish decided to swim up to me which was about 8 minutes after i turned the lights on. Is my angelfish well retarded?

true story just happened to me

Yup, fish is just "sleeping". I had an angelfish once that would often end up upside down when he slept. Absolutely freaked me out the first couple of times, until I realized that's just what he did.

sleeping....my pbass does that also.
