Hi , I've been wondering for so long because of my fish behaviour.My asian aro and florida gar like to rest at the bottom of my tank and seldomly swim near the surface , except at feeding time . I thought they are suppose to be a surface dweller ? I thought they are sick at first , but they have been in my tank for almost half a year and they still do the same kind of behaviour . Are those kind of behaviour are commonly happen ?thanks

Try adding power heads and bubblers. Sounds like a lack of oxygen to me.

Sent from my SGH-T989 using MonsterAquariaNetwork App

post a video? It be a lack of oxygen or water quality. How big is the aro and gar?

@Vanimal : ok,thanks.I use 2 bubblers right now.should i add some more ?i change the water once a week
@lix.ma14 : i will try post a video , aro is 32 - 35 cm and gar is 25 cm.Is there any possibilities that the aro and gar imitating my other fish behaviour?they are pleco , senegal bichir , frontosa , and datnoid

You don 't any current blowing towards the place they like to stay near the bottom? No pump driving current their way in that place? Is it allways the same place, by the way?

No,they rarely rest at the bottom in the same spot.but recently,my aro seldomly rest at the bottom,but still doing it sometimes.my gar always at the bottom except at feeding time and at night.i don't have any device that make current

i would not worry.
