Weird black scales

I caught this bluegill in a lake by the coast and it has some weird black scales that you can see in the picture. I just thought they were pretty cool and maybe someone will appreciate them

Cool fish, yeah bluegill coloration can vary a lot depending on the area. Gills around me are the typical tan coloration whereas ones I catch in Erie can be almost completely black.
