Swimming in a mountain river
I have a 10in tiger oscar w/ a weird small black dot on the tip of his left pectoral fin. Just one, everything else about him is normal, gills, scales, and fins are healthy. Normal behavior. I've been watching him for about 2.5 weeks. It hasn't grown in a week and a half. I can't find any info on anything like it. No one else has it. Tank is 240gal, been set-up for 4-5 months, temp is 76, his tankmates are: his mate, 3 turtles, 2 plecos, and some goldfish. Oscars eat: cichlid gold(daily), turtle pellets(daily). 3 or so times a week: grapes, lettuce, and every few weeks, captive dubia roaches. No plants, gravel bottom, 50% water change every week maybe two. Can't do it as often as i'd like because the water I fill it w/ has high nitrates. Filtration: 2 FX5's: biomax, ceramic rings, zero-carb, seachem matrix. Idk if it matters but the spot seems to coenside w/ some nesting he and his mate have been doing. Prob just a coincidence, but thought i'd mention it. Thanks
