Weird brown fuzz (please help)

Hey I noticed alot of small dark (Almost algae colored) specs on the glass of my aquarium near where the filter exhausts into the water. It moves with the water current and looks like it could be an infestation perhaps ? also I have been using 2 to three times the amount of fish destresser and dechlorinator in my water changes will this make the tank glass a little more gooey ? Hence creating stuff getting stuck on the glass? any helps appreciated.PS the stuff doesnt seem to be alive and the fish are doing fine it seems . Any input appreciated

I tried to get some pics its really not showing up its realllly fine little brown specs blowing with the current but still attached to the glass.

PS Anyone know if you can use to much of this dechlorinator destresser stuff?
When i had monster aquariums i seem to recall prime being the best of the best but I saw this stuff APS I believe and figured I couldnt lose. Maybe I did

Have you tried scraping it off and removing it? Sounds like hair algae.
