Weird clown loach. Question

Ok so I bought 3 clown loaches. I put them in my 55 with my 2 pictus, 3 cons, and 1 green terror. (yes they all live in harmony) I have had the loaches for about a month now, and 2 of the 3 will lay on their sides, and look dead for about an hour at a time. I tap on the glass lightly, and they spring up, and everything is normal. If I leave them be thay will eventually get up on their own. Tank parameters are normal, and everything is healthy. Anyone seen anything like that with their clown loaches? BTW. The loaches look great also. No sign of disease or anything like that. Bright brilliant colors. Full fins, and no sign of anything bad. They all eat great too.

it's normal, that's just how they rest sometimes.

that's perfectly normal, and it is no surprise to see them do well with cichlids, never seen mine pick on CL's

They lay around like that all the time. I'm going to get a handful of mini laziboy recliners.

Like everyone else said, it's normal. Fun to see visitors' reactions when they first see them like that though!

normal behavior but yea it scary when they play dead when you first get em
