Weird color developing on my RD juvie

I noticed he/she? is getting lots of black splotches on its underside and fins. What do you guys think is going on

It's common nothing to worry about. Thaey go through a lot of color changes/phases on there way to adulthood.

I recently had the same thing happen to my rd juvie.....got black splotches on the fins, its sides and lips. After a couple of weeks he returned to normal and is still very colorful. Your rd is gonna alright its called fading or pealing i beleive something like that.
