Just curious what weird things your flower does?

1) Mine constantly does laps of my tank and every now-and-then does a half flip.
2) It also chases my other flower growouts with a mouth full of gravel, when close it'll spit the gravel at the fish - nearly wet my pants the first time I saw it. (30cm fh after the 5-6cm's)

Never seen him chase without a mouthful of gravel, lmao!! Damn flowers are heaps more entertaining then pures!

Flowerhorns are active fish that will swim around fast. As long as your flowerhorn is not swimming upside down or lopsey turvey I would not worry.

Flowerhorns are primarily cichlids and cichlids are substrate spawners, hence taking gravel in the mouth and spitting it around is a very normal behavior. This however does not mean that you need to breed your FH with a female or male, this is just natural behavior.

My largest flowerhorn is in a 5 feet tank and he follows us as far as he can.. I find that really funny :D
and one of my smaller FH accepts food only when it is soft, he spits out hard food and waits till it softens up! These are all individual traits since flowerhorns like cichlis have unique personalities :)
