Weird fin HELP

I just went to feed my fish, and for some reason, my female jurupari has one of her fins clenched at her side. Never had a problem like this before. It looked like it was missing completely, but it is still there, just a little chewed up from some fight. Violence is rarely a problem in my tank, so I am a little inexperienced in dealing with this. I would put her in my quarantine tank, but it is currently occupied with fish small enough for her to eat. Help MFK's!!!
 
I would say that because it was damaged in a fight she is trying to protect it so as long as she is still acting normal I would let it heal.
 
wow, what a relief. She is totally normal, picking on the male as usual. Just the one fin is weird. Seems like the fish is smarter than I am. Tell me how to upload pics directly from computer, and I will do so in gratitude.
