Not sure if it's eating/feeding connected, but possibly associated with it. I really don't know what to make of it. No vid to show the behaviour but being a clown loach keeper I thought that you might find it interesting, Cory. I have a female clown loach that likes to mouth a white piece of smooth gravel. I can't tell if it is the exact same one each day, but it is always snow white (the gravel in this tank is mixed colors of very smooth small pebbles), and she rolls it around in her mouth like she's sucking on it. Craziest thing I have ever seen in loach behaviour.
