I bought 3 hujetas. the biggest one's gills are extended slightly outward. It looks like they are flaired out. I noticed that he also got nipped in the fins at the fish store. Any ideas what this is about? I tried to get a picture, he wont stay still. He swims around just fine.

a pic would be good but i've also seen something similar on fish when the babies are just bred staigt down the generations without any new fish but it only happenned on an ocassional fish wich was always culled
