Hello, I got a 29g biocube cycling right now with 30lb livesand and 5lb of liverock. Its going on its 2ed week and ive already done a 5gallon water change with premixed saltwater from my local marine fish store. I used premixed saltwater when i started the tank.

Ive been watching the tank pretty much none stop since i started it, i noticed a little snail already, yesterday the tank looked fine, and when i came home around 9pm just now i noticed alot of green hair like stuff all over the glass looks like little green hair seeds, is this a start of some kind of algea? It happened so quick theirs like over 200 on the glass and lots on the sand. So im assuming this had to spread when i was at work. I turn on the lights at 9 every morning and i turn it off around 9-11 every night. This is my first saltwater tank so this is something i never seen before ive done alot of research before i got the tank so i do it right, and now im kind of worried and it has'nt even been running that long.

After looking over my tank i notice some brown algae and some green algae with some little air bubbles on it. So my question is it is good or should i start to buy fish or shrimp/snails to start cleaning this up?

no you don't have to add fish yet I had started to see the same in my tank just over time it cleared up Some say it is just cycling

how old is the tank? and what is our lighting and feeding cycle? what fish and inverts if any are in there? and what is your phosphate levels?
