Weird Lump?

Hey guys, just got a blood parrot today. I checked him out at the store because I wanted a somewhat normal mouth, I swear I didn’t think this was there. He’s been going up and down the glass For a few hours, seems like he’s rubbing his mouth on the glass unintentionally. The spot is clear to normal color, no white. What do you think? Thanks

I keep looking at it, definitely don’t think this was there a few hours ago.

Hard to say. Maybe swelling from contact irritation. Dim lights and place some plants along the sides of glass. Hope it’ll deter and settle down. I assume this. Make sure ur water is pristine.

Hey thanks, I had just sold the previous fish that were in it today, drained all the water and changed out the substrate to black, filter with bio media is the same.

Give your bp two hides, one on each side of the tank as well. A wall of plants in the corners works too.
