weird motoro behavior?

My 9" motoro has been swimming a lot up against the current from the filter output.
He is in a 125g, filtration is 1000L/H but will be adding an eheim canister filter this month (1850L/H). Do you think this behavior is due to lack of filtration, or he's just doing it for fun?

More then likely having fun in the current. Several of mine did this all the time.

As long as water parameters are good, they just want to play with the flow. My rays does this regularly and everything is normal.
