What is this thing? I bought some minnows for fishing with and I noticed this was in there, so I took it and tossed it into my fry tank. sorry this is the best pics I could get of it, what is this thing?

awesome, i got it with a minnows, i suppose i'll keep it, maybe it can justlive in my fry tank with the small 1 inch fish and just be a permanent resident there
 
bad idea to keeping sticklebacks with your fry because of their aggressive behaviors and often nipping other fishes' fins.

no not this stickleback, this one is very nice and friendly, so no need to worry about that
