I wanna know... can my wild aequidens tetramerus breed with a firemouth??? i dont know if it is male or female, but the firemouth i think its female.

i dont want to breed them, i think THEY want to breed
they are acting like if they wanna breed, so thats why my question came in, so i hope no cuz it would make me have hybrids everywhere, and how i will get rid of them then???? i wont give them to a petstore cuz i dont think that to give hybrids to be sold is right

anyway....can they breed or not??this may be better suited for the hybrid section! but it is possible doesnt mean they will!
but as of getting rid of them feed the babies to other cichlids! i had a breeding ppair of convicts and in another tank i had some bigger fish and a smaller zebra and i put the fry in and that zebra shot up! 1 in to 3in or 4in in a lil more than a month!
