so on those advanced lighting systems like compacts and t-5 HO's, they have those LED moon lights! do those ever burn out?? if so are the easy/cheap to replace??

Depends on the manufacturer and your skill level, (I fix anything ) they're usually LED's and it they're not sealed in you may be able to replace them.

yeah, i called coralife and they said that they sell the bulb replacements for like 10 bucks plus shipping. i get 16 LED bulbs for a 36" lighting unit. good deal or no??
