I personally doubt that it's anchorworm, but I would still try what Tom suggested in your other thread, try applying iodine to the spot. Hydrogen peroxide is another option.

While your fish doesn't have an ulcer as described in the following link, it does explain the methods for treating external wounds, cuts, abrasions, etc. The goal is to clean the wound and kill any/all bacteria.
