As some may know I recently got a 8" Oscar. I put my calico convict pair with him in a 75. They are getting along great but I noticed my calico male is acting weird toward the female. At first he cased her around till she went in his pot. All of sudden he stopped bothering her. So she started cleaning the pot. Now every time she wants to move around the tank he harasses her till she goes back in the pot. I've never seen this with any type of cichlids. Is he trying to keep her in the pot to protect her from the Oscar?
