Hey, so my stingray recently started to develop these weird bumbs on his body in patches. Anyone know what they are and if i should be worried? Thanks! Oh hes a retic

haven't seen those before, how is it eating?

to be safe, I would keep up the WC for now until you get a real diagnosis

he is eating horribly, i havent had him to long and i think he is just starting to munch on some cut worms which is a relief, you can tell by the picture that he's hungry.

I would just keep an eye on the bumps, make sure they don't spread or get worse.

eating is a good sign. if its a new ray, then it may have some kind of parasite. Be sure to keep up the WC and maybe get some prazi just incase.

Do you have full body shots? from the pic, looks more like a yepsi or hurmosa

dont worry too much i got 3 retics and 2 of them have the same sorta thing and have had it for a year or longer. does not affect their eatinf or behaviour. just keep an eye on it and make sure it doesnt start to spread cuz then it could be something differnt like some sort of disease or parasite

Several of my rays have had these in the past...I wouldn't worry too much. Are they babies?

One of my WC MM has spots just like that on his disc. He eats like a champa and is growing normally. Like everyone before me has said, just keep an eye on it.
