Weird Urchin!!!!!

I just took these pics in the last 15mins and don't know the best way to describe what i saw.
This urchin had white stuff "dribbling" out from the top and puffs of white stuff pulsing out into the water column. This lasted for about 10mins (for what i saw anyway).
My first thought was sperm but otherwise i wouldn't have a clue!!!

Anyone know???

It is "Mespilia globulus".

oh.. i thought you were asking what kind of urchin it was.. my bad..


it's possible that it was sperm..
i have seen a few of my snails so the same.. then had a profusion of tiny baby snails about a month afterwords

lol, my bad too, sometimes i don't describe things the best. Sperm is my only guess, and he is not dead this morn so obviously what ever was going on wasn't bad.
