So one at a time this weird white growth has been growing on my fish. I now have a fourth fish infected. I do not know what it is nor do I know how to treat it. I have isolated the other fish and treated with water changes, salt, increased temp, and various fungus and parasite cures. It is not ick.

I have used the search button and cannot find anything on it. everytime I use search terms to desrcibe it all that turns up is ick.

Its hard to tell by the pic, would be better to see a clear close up of the infected area.
It could be lymphocystis, which is viral and ubiquitous .
And because lymph is viral (like the common cold), you can throw gallons of meds at it, and they won't do a thing, but perhaps stress the fish even more.
Frequent water changes and a stress free environment can sometimes help it self cure.

I have been doing frequent water changes, salt, and increased temp on tank. The white growth has moved from its original position to where it is now. It seems to get smaller and almost go away then it will flare up and get bigger.

After every water cahnge it gets smaller, but within 48 hours it gets larger again.

here are some better pictures.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Greg
